Outdoor World offers soils specifically designed for a wide variety of applications. From infield mixes to bunker sands to stabilizers and cart and walkpath mixes, practical uses of our soils range from promoting tree growth in urban environments to creating playing surfaces for golf courses and athletic fields. Our custom products are used by municipalities, colleges, universities and private entities nationwide. We even supply soils to major and minor league ball parks!

Current soil products include:


SANDS  
Topdress Sand Standard Naturally weathered and clean native sand 2mm screened for all purpose topdressing of greens, tees, sports fields, etc. This soil amending topdressing sand is a good choice in combination with aerafication programs.
Bunker Sand Standard
 Naturally weathered and clean native sand 2mm screened and tested for general bunker applications. Color and particle shape make this a good twin sand to the standard topdress sand, for those concerned with “sand splash” on greens surfaces.
DIVOT MIX  
Accusoils 64D 60% fine sand and 40% fine compost blend to provide a divot repair medium ready for seed. The compost properties enhance the rapid establishment of unsightly divot scars on tees, landing areas.
TOPDRESSING MIXES
Accusoils 91T 90% fine sand and 10% fine soil blend topdressing mix is a blend, for those with sand soil based root zones, that desire a touch of soil to a good a topdressing blend, for use during aerafication practices.
Accusoils 82T 80% fine sand and 20% fine soil blend topdressing mix, for those with sand soil based root zone profiles, who wish to maintain a sand soil harmony balance, in a good topdressing blend for use during aerafication practices.
3/8th ROOT ZONE MIXES
Accusoils 64S Root zone mix with 60% sand and 40% soil 3/8ths screened for tees, and sports field construction and repair, etc. Popular with older golf course tees. Great sandy loam for general use in turf and landscape.
Accusoils 721A Root zone mix with 70% sand, 20% soil, and 10% compost. A good uniform blend of sand-soil-organic. Popular with new design of golf course tees and sports field construction. A desired mix for those who prefer a higher soil element with adequate infiltration and compost properties.
SPEC. ROOT ZONE MIXES  
Accusoils 91GP Designed root zone mix with 90% fine specification sand and 10% fine ground sphagnum peat moss. Utilized in new golf green construction, golf tees, and high culture sports field designs. A called for mix where high sand based root zone systems are requested with the attributes of a quality sphagnum peat moss.

Utilized in new golf green construction, golf tees, and high culture sports field designs. A called for mix where high sand based root zone systems are requested with the attributes of a quality sphagnum peat moss.
INFIELD MIXES  
Accusoils Native Infield Mix Light tan blend of fine silt, clay, and sand mix screened to 3/8”. Maintains a good balance between grit & fines. Easy to maintain or amend. Good for all skinned infields, from little league to college level.
Accusoils Premium Red Premier red blend formulated for both looks and performance.    This premium grade mix provides a desirable color, texture, Top   shelf  blend good for all skinned infields. This mix is sure to be the coaches choice.
Accusoils True Red Infield mix combined with the fines of red slate. The answer to athletic fields that want the red infield at an affordable price.
WARNING TRACK MIXES  
Accusoils Gray TRX Uniform blue/gray tight track material, coarse textured.
Accusoils Red TRX Premium red mix track material, great color, coarse texture.
Accusoils Tan TRX Uniform tan tight track material, coarse textured.
CART PATH MIXES  
½” Blend Blue / Gray color, tight pack, no stone bigger than ½”, good for cart pathways, and walk paths that are close to low cut turf.
3/16” Blend Blue/ Gray, no stones, walk paths, cart paths, stabilizer ready. Other colors available.
STABILIZER PATH MIXES  
Urban Walk Blue / Gray color, no stones 3/16” minus, great for walk paths. Mixture approved by Stabilizer Solutions, Inc.
Mountain Walk Gray / Tan color, no stones 3/16” minus, great for walk paths. Mixture approved by Stabilizer Solutions, Inc.
GENERAL SOILS AND GRAVEL  
½” Screened Loam ½” screened for general turf landscape construction
3/8” Construction Loam Our on site sandy organic loam mixture 3/8” screened.
